I’m an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) at the Department of Computer Engineering of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where I received my PhD. in Computer Science and Telecommunication in 2015.
My research focuses on assessing how new and mobile technologies can provide assistance to people with cognitive disabilities in their daily lives. To do that, I work in narrow collaboration with therapists and doctors from CEADAC and educators from the Madrid’s Down Syndrome Foundation and the Dr. Quintero Lumbreras Psico-Pediatric Institute.
Further information about my current and past projects can be found also at the Ambient Intelligence Laboratory website.
